CASSIEL

Electronic music has been a driving passion for Dallas since the early 90's. In 2000 he tried working his hand at writing electronic music with a good friend, using a old DOS program called Impulse Tracker. Well he certainly took the backseat for most of the production, as Dallas was more just learning what electronic music production was all about. The artists whom originally struck him were names such as Leftfield, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Fluke, NIN, and the Orb. Trent Reznor probably had the largest impact on his style based on the use of very abrasive synthesis and mathematical drums.
He ended up finding his way onto dimly lit underground dance-floors and discovered the act of dj'ing. Dallas ended up meeting many local dj's such as Epic, Joseph Martin, Scoobee, and Rubixqube to name a few. After being even closer to the music, and being able to touch the record.........it was time to try as "Cassiel". This time spanned from 2000 to the present, and has landed gigs through the interior of BC, Vancouver, and out to Ucluelet.
Dj'ing since has become a passion. Always staying busy behind the decks, Cassiel has a mixing style unique to his tastes. Known to take his listeners up and down through many emotions in a set. "Every set will always be different, and your not sure what to expect", is a common quote from peers and and fans.
Cassiel's set performance can consist of Minimal, Ambient, Progressive House, Break-beats, Electronica, Techno, and Industrial. Depends what the feeling is at the time.
Archangel Cassiel is known as the Angel of Temperance and Good Fortune. He is associated with the following attributes: acceptance, wisdom, luck, purpose and positivity. His energy inspires us to expand our minds and think on a higher level. He helps to create peace and release disharmony in all situations.
He is often included in lists as being one of the seven archangels and often associated with the Seventh Heaven.
